At Dawmouse we review the nursery fees are annually to ensure we can maintain the best quality of care, resources, and learning experiences for all children.
Registration Fee: £60.00 (non-refundable) – this does not guarantee a place for a child.
Deposit: £500.00 – to secure a place (this will be refunded on the last terms invoice, providing the correct notice has been received in writing. One full term’s notice is required in writing.)
A full term’s notice must be given in writing before your child leaves the nursery, otherwise a full term’s fees will be charged.

Lunch
Children bring a packed lunch from home. We have a strict nut-free policy.
All the children have a snack of fruit or vegetables during the morning and afternoon sessions, s provided by the parents.
Funded 15 hours childcare for 2 year olds and 3–4 year olds
The government provides up to 30 hours per week of funded childcare for eligible children aged 2–4.
Details on Funding:
Government funding covers the cost of childcare provision and the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum only.
However it does not cover our full nursery fees, which include our Montessori philosophy, specialist teachers, and a wide range of additional activities.
Parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution to cover consumables and additional services, such as:
This contribution is voluntary, but parents who do not wish to pay for additional services should speak with the Principle.
Fully funded afternoon-only places 15 hours per week
At Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School fully funded afternoon sessions (Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 3:30pm, no additional charges) are available and subject to availability. These cover EYFS learning only and do not include extras such as sports, Montessori cycle, music, trips, or holiday clubs.
30 hours funded childcare for working parents
Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School offers the extended 30 hours funded childcare for eligible families; however, this is subject to payment of additional fees and a minimum attendance requirement of four full days and one morning session per week (8:30 am to 3:30 pm, equivalent to 30.5 hours).

We will ask you to provide proof of your child’s date of birth, such as a birth certificate or passport, and to complete the Parental Declaration Form.
From here, Dawmouse will take care of the rest. We will claim the funding directly from the local authority on your behalf, there’s no need for you to contact them yourself.
