Welcome to Dawmouse Montessori, a well-loved Fulham nursery for children aged 2 to 5.

Established in 1975 on Dawes Road, from which our name originates, the nursery has since moved to the exceptional facilities and outdoor space at the nearby Brunswick Club.

For over five decades, Dawmouse has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality early years care and education.

Today, Montessori principles remain at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to treating every child as an individual, providing the routine, guidance, materials, and the carefully prepared environment they need to develop independence, build concentration, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Our dedicated team set up the environment each day, according to the needs and curiosities of the children, ensuring they access all areas of the curriculum with the freedom and space to explore, discover and play both inside the classroom and outdoors.

What makes our small community special is that we get to know each of our pupils and their families, and strive to support their individual needs – be they practical, medical, logistical etc. We know how tough the balancing act of family life can be, so we also offer flexibility, while placing the care and wellbeing of the children at the centre of all we do.
