Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School in Fulham has provided high-quality Montessori early years education for over 50 years. Our well-resourced classrooms, spacious indoor play area, and large outdoor garden create a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Following the Montessori method, children are encouraged to learn at their own pace within a carefully prepared environment. We support each child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development, helping them build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Daily routine
Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School is term-time only, offering two sessions: 9:00–13:00 and 13:00–15:30, with optional flexible drop-off from 8:30 and flexible pick-up in the afternoon.
Each day at our London Montessori nursery has a different learning focus:
- Monday: Letter of the week, including show-and-share and phonics activities.
- Tuesday: Music lessons with Mr A from Music House for Children.
- Wednesday: Topic-related art projects.
- Thursday: Sports with Coach Patsy, held in the playground or gym.
- Friday: French lessons with Miss Réjane from Kidslingo.
Term Time Nursery
Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School is a term time only. Our day consists of two sessions; 9:00-13:00 and 13:00-15:30 with the option of flexible drop off from 8.30 and flexible pick up for the afternoon sessions. Each day at Dawmouse there is a different focus, Monday there is a chosen letter of the week which includes a show and share and using the phonetic alphabet. Tuesday we have topic related art and an art lesson. Wednesday, our Music lesson with Miss Jade from Music House. Thursday, Sports with Coach JJ from Tiny Feet which is held in the playground or the gym and Friday we have French with Miss Nora from Kidslingo using songs, props and music.
